What We Do
Our aim is to help as many small mammals through the process of recovery from injury, or in the case of orphaned young animals, provide nuture and care until they are able to fend for themselves.
Our goal is to always, where possible, return them to the wild.
Acorn Wildlife Rescue takes in injured, sick and orphaned animals from across our region, covering Bath, Bridgwater, Bristol, Burnham-on-Sea, Chard, Clevedon, Crewkerne, Dorchester, Frome, Glastonbury, Ilminster, Minehead, Sailsbury, Shepton Mallet, Taunton, Wells, Weston-super-Mare, Weymouth and Yeovil and of course many more!
At Acorn Wildlife Rescue we concentrate on helping small mammals, so if its small and furry, or sometimes not in the case of very young 'pinkies' then we can help. In the case of larger mammals and birds, it still might be worth calling for advice as we will always endeavour to put you in touch with another rescue centre locally that specialise in the animals that we don't.
